Supplement antioxidants Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Selenium along with Calcium, which are beneficial to horses by decreasing oxidative stress and supporting healthy muscle, bone,s and maintaining a strong immune system.

Antioxidants and reactive oxygen species (ROS) balance is important as oxidative stress occurs when ROS production exceeds antioxidant buffering capacity, thus decreasing the antioxidants and increasing the ROS production. Intense exercise is a potent stimulator of ROS production, disturbing muscle homeostasis as well as causing muscle fatigue and injury.

Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Selenium are potent antioxidants that protect horses from free radicals generated by exercise, illness, and other oxidative stress. Calcium is considered an essential mineral for healthy bones and muscles, and is usually lost during intense exercise or competition; hence, it needs to be supplemented.
