Bekwick Calming Support contains magnesium and B-complex vitamins such as B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12. It also contains tryptophan, which helps in the production of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, assisting as a calming agent to treat excitable horses. Thiamine and riboflavin play key roles in carbohydrate metabolism, acting as co-enzymes to support the transformation of nutrients into energy. Deficiencies in thiamine can lead to poor appetite and nervousness. Niacin exerts an antioxidant effect, helping to repair DNA damage.

Pyridoxine is important for normal brain development and for keeping the nervous and immune systems functioning correctly. Vitamin B12 has vital roles in red blood cell and DNA formation, as well as in the development and functioning of the nervous system.
