This formulation is a combination of probiotics (Lactobacillus sps, Bifidobacterium sps, Enterococcus sps and Pediococcus sps – 20 billion cfu) and prebiotics (Mannan Oligosaccharide and Fructo Oligosaccharide), which help in recovering from gut disturbances such as colic, inflammatory bowel diseases, and diarrhea.

Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) have the ability to bind to pathogens and toxins in the gut, promoting the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. They also neutralize excess lactic acid, thus preventing hindgut acidosis.

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) stimulate the growth of beneficial bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. They also enhance gut motility, digestion, and the absorption of minerals like calcium and magnesium.

Lactobacillus acidophilus helps maintain the balance of gut microbiota by producing lactic acid, which lowers gut pH and inhibits the growth of harmful pathogens. It can also support digestion of fiber and starch and strengthen the gut lining.

Excess sugars ferment in the hindgut, causing dysbiosis (gut bacteria imbalance) and lactic acid buildup, leading to toxin release into the bloodstream, causing systemic inflammation, affecting hoof circulation, and thus causing laminitis.

Bifidobacterium spp help in breaking down ‘other’ sugars, preventing laminitis. They also produce vitamins and maintain healthy gut flora by outcompeting pathogenic microorganisms.

Enterococcus spp maintain gut health by balancing intestinal flora and contributing to enhanced immune function.

Pediococcus spp help lower pH in the gut, reducing pathogen growth. They are also involved in regulating gut immunity and protecting against inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Directions for Use
